The role will be based in the Global HR Operations team in Birmingham city center, working a 7 hour day between 7:30am – 5:30pm, hours to be agreed with your line manager. The purpose of the role is to work with both internal and external teams to provide seamless administrative support to all parts of the employee experience from onboarding and training to a wide array of HR administrative duties in both electronic and manual paper format.
• You will work closely with internal and external teams as well as senior partners so will need to have an excellent ability to manage relationships and expectations. • Maintaining accurate employee records using both spreadsheets and databases • Answering both internal and external queries both by phone and by email • Testing of process or systems improvements in advance of roll out. • Coordination of Learning administration activities between the Project manager and the administrator. • Production, scanning and print and dispatch of HR documents. • Running basic reports from HR systems • Coordinating induction events for our new starters
Skills and experience:
• Attention to detail is a key fundamental part of this role, with the ability to prioritise and manage high volumes of work, maintain quality and accuracy and provide excellent service delivery • Ability to manage own time effectively and work at pace • Able to put the employee experience at the heart of all tasks • Fantastic organisational skills and ability to multi-task • Proactive, willing to challenge and have the confidence to identify and recommend changes and improvements • Experience of working in a fast paced team, ideally globally • Sound experience of working within a high volume recruitment or administration team • Experience of using databases and systems for processing and reporting • Excellent administrative and communication skills, including high quality of written English • Able to actively develop relationships with internal and external clients • Ability to think on your feet and look for solutions to challenges An understanding of HR processes is a distinct advantage Good IT and keyboard skills; in particular, good working knowledge of Word and Excel • A European language would be a great desirable but not essential to the role
