Purpose Of The Role

Colas, a leading infrastructure, and highways company, is looking for an HR Business Partner to join their team in Solihull. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our HR Support services for a certain business area(s) where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of HR operations and general activities.
Main Responsibilities
The Human Resource Business Partner is responsible for ensuring the delivery of HR policies in a specific business area, supporting recruitment, performance management, reward systems, and employee relations. You will collaborate with HR specialist functions, oversee business change and restructuring initiatives, participate in talent reviews and implement talent strategies. Providing HR support, guiding line managers, and managing HR initiatives within the business area. The HRBP will also assist business leaders in their interactions with employee representative groups, support the recruitment and selection process, and help review HR policies and processes, identifying any opportunities in the area of responsibility to further enhance employee experience. Line-manage direct reports and work with the regional team to ensure effective support is offered to businesses and support functions within the region.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you must be CIPD qualified and have a strong understanding of HR practices and procedures. You should also have excellent communication skills, be highly organised, and possess the ability to work effectively under pressure.
