Stock Control/Logistics Administrator

Hays are working with a large reputable Manufacturing business in Telford who are looking for a Stock Control/Logistics Administrator on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity due to growth.
Your new role 
 The successful candidate will have worked in a stock coordination position or similar and have experience using Sage, be a helpful and reliable member of the team, and have proven experience working in a fast-paced environment. Duties will involve: 
 Duties not limited to: 
 • Issue and process picking lists. 
 • Issue works orders to production manager. 
 • Review stock usage on BOMs, issue stock and post WOs to production team. 
 • Review open stock orders and liaise with suppliers, chase suppliers, manage and update stock due dates on Sage and inform the team of changes. 
 • Arrange stock in the warehouse to utilise space and make a more efficient layout. 
 • Book in stock using Sage 200. 
 • Manage Sage stock list, ensure all uniformed, obsolete stock, implement minimum stock levels based on buying patterns and regular reporting to the Team. 
 • Review unused stock and liaise with the team on how to utilise. 
 • Review buying patterns and implement more efficient processes. 
 • Support the buyers with the buying process and assist in the search for new suppliers. 
 • Assess stock purchases based on value. 
 • Review project work with the team to pre-empt stock requirements. 
 • Amend stock usage based on first offs and WO's, update BOM's and re issue to sales orders. 
 • Manage WIP stock and CNC sheet usages to ensure we have livestock values and levels. 
 • Process completed works orders. 
 • Carryout stock takes at regular intervals. 
 • Flag and investigate anomalies in stock usage on WOs or stock levels from regular checks. 
 • Review regular stock and non-stock purchase orders with the team to ensure all stock is captured and analysed ensuring stock is valued correctly and landed costs captured. 
 • Correct BOM's on Sage to reflect completed works orders. 
 • Support with admin duties during absences as requested.
What you'll need to succeed 
In order to be considered for this role you have previous Logistics/Stock experience.
