Flint UK is looking for Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer for a 3 Month rolling contract:

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a network architecture following the vendors best practices.
• Create the required documentation for the project (eg HLD, LLD,etc)
• Troubleshooting and resolving problems for level 3 escalated tickets.
• Supporting root cause analysis of recurring issues which may require detailed scrutiny of large volumes of log file.
• Working with internal Core Network Platform Team to resolve possible issues.
• Working with other internal Teams hosted in our infrastructure.
• Support deployment of new project with automation, orchestration and provisioning.
• To solve problems and provide work arounds when necessary.
• Ensuring all infrastructure devices are licensed and working in optimal condition.
• To use the test environment and lab to test new releases of software and templates released by CTO and testing possible patch/updates.
• Day to day tasks of following up and monitoring customer status for ongoing cases.
• Staying current with system and product information, changes and updates
• Other duties as required by the line manager

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum 3 years Hands on Experience with Juniper Switches and Firewalls.
• Minimum CCNP or JNCIP Certified
• Hands-on Experian on CISCO ASA
• Knowledge of CISCO ISE
• Participate in the design, setup and configuration of complex L2/L3 switch
• Responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining a L3 private IP MPLS carrier network via BGP peering as well as a sophisticated private BGP WAN topology
• Maintain, create and update all network documentation and topology diagrams.
• Leverage multiple network monitoring tools to analyze network traffic patterns to proactively identify performance issues and account for capacity planning.
• Good knowledge of the virtual environment such as VMware and Openstack
• Good experience in handling Cloud Networking (eg VPC configuration and troubleshooting in AWS)

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

Have working technical knowledge of:

• NSX-T or other SDN tools
• API, Rest, Curl Scripting
• Awareness of the various Inmarsat services and products
