It will require you to organise people, tasks and resources to bring about a successful delivery within the scope of each individual project.About the companyOur client is a shopfitting contractor based in the West Midlands who specialise in fit outs, refurbishments and installations in the retail sector. They work across Europe and have a huge selection of longstanding blue-chip retail clients which helps to win and retain work year-on-year. The successful candidate will be joining an experienced team who have the infrastructure and a proven-record of developing Project Managers from junior to more senior levels.Duties and Responsibilities Defining a project's scope and goals through information provided by the client and information captured during surveys and scoping meetings. Planning and scheduling project timelines Leading the planning and implementation of projects. Coordinating project staff, both internal & external to the business Resource planning and allocation. Quality assurance. Carrying out risk assessment. Managing project administration, including all documentation. Reporting regularly to senior management. Managing client relationships. Tracking project performance. Project evaluations and results measurement. Meeting budgetary objectives.Candidate requirements:- Must live within the Central or West Midlands region- Ideally have experience in a retail or fast track project setting- Client will consider candidates who have recently graduated from university with a construction-related degree, ideally in Project Management AND some construction experience.- Alternatively, this role is suited to those who specialise in small works or facilities management. Projects from £10K-£100K. - Must have a valid SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid at Work and Asbestos Awareness certificate/s with a Clean Full UK Driving License.
