Job Role: Electrical Manager - Contract Location: Eye, Suffolk (accepting applications from surrounding areas) Salary: Up to £550 per day (£140,000 per annum!) Hours: Monday to Friday Job Type: Contract Role The Role: Develop in depth strategies and plans for company electrical projects, reviewing and evaluating project designs where required. Work closely with a variety of teams and stakeholders including commissioning and site managers to ensure projects are carried out effectively. Plan and prepare project budgets, monitoring and reviewing project costs, expenses and resource allocation throughout the process. Maintain accurate documentation surrounding the progress of the project, monitoring the progress of electrical installations and reporting this to project managers where required. Provide guidance and supervision to the construction team, leading and mentoring the team to ensure work is completed effectively and efficiently. Carry out risk assessments related to electrical projects, developing contingency plans to counter any potential issues that may arise. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining clear communication to ensure everyone is kept up to date throughout the project. Implement continuous improvement methodologies, staying up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering and implementing these where possible. Follow company health and safety procedures, ensuring that all projects comply with safety standards and regulations. The Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience as a project manager within electrical engineering (essential) Degree qualified within Electrical Engineering (essential) Proficient in the use of electrical software and CAD design packages (essential) Knowledge of electrical regulations and construction industry standards (essential) Proficient in schematic diagrams and electrical system planning (essential) Previous experience surrounding electrical engineering with the construction industry (advantageous) Full UK Driving License Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
