Who are they?
Our client is a UK specialist Construction, Facilities Management & Civil Engineering company. They provide services across sectors from new build to refurbishment along with supplying building solutions to commercial units such as hospitals, retailers, universities etc.
What will I be doing?
As the Senior Planner, you will be responsible for a large-scale leisure project as well as working on preconstruction. You will also be leaned on you mentor junior planners.
Senior Planner responsibilities:
- Producing preconstruction, contract and target programmes of work
- Visiting sites and monitoring and reviewing progress for both contract & target programmes
- Give advice to the construction team on project progress and forecast project completions
- Liaising with the project team members to produce short term programmes of work
- Assist our in-house design managers to produce information required schedules
- Develop project logistics plans
- Visit sites to gather information for the proposed tenders
- Analyse and evaluate construction methods, techniques and logistics required for tenders
- Produce tender programmes, logistics plans and programme methodologies for tender submissions

Am I right for the role?
- Over 2 years planning experience within a main contractor
- Experience using Asta Powerproject planning software
- Site experience would be preferable
- Previous Healthcare project experience
