They are a medium-sized business specializing in the installation and construction of plant and machinery within the food manufacturing environment. As a pivotal player in the industry, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in general construction and hands-on experience, capable of leading projects from conception to completion.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in general constructionQualifications in health and safetyConstruction supervisor/site manager certification
Key Responsibilities:
Manage site operations and oversee installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budgetEffectively manage and coordinate sub-contractors to ensure seamless collaborationConduct site visits, including costings and surveys, to inform project planning and executionGenerate accurate costings for jobs and produce detailed drawings for layoutsHands-on involvement in installation work, particularly during weekendsWillingness to work away from home (pre-planned) with nationwide travel, with accommodation and expenses covered by the companyWorking Arrangements:
Home-Based and Agile working options availableRegular visits to Head Office in Burntwood required (accommodation provided if not local)
Desired Experience and Skills:
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential)Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels3-5 years of experience in sub-contractor management and site management
Salary Range: £45,000 - £50,000
