Job Title: Design Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Design Manager or a Senior Designer who is ready to take that next step to work for a well established high end joinery fit out company.
The company has been established for well over 20 years and in that time have produced the highest bespoke joinery packages for numerous high end fit out projects across London. This role would be suited for a candidate who has ideally had a strong background in carpentry and joinery and progressed through the drawing office.
The design manager will be incharged of the drawing office overseeing and managing the delivery of the design process to the preconstruction team (Estimating, Sales, Joinery Production), project delivery team, end client and their representatives.
A successful candidate will be able to lead a team of design engineers making sure that accurate drawings are produced within given deadlines. There will be a requirement to attend meetings with clients and their associates.
CANDIDATE:
Joinery / Interior Fit Out background is essential
Knowledge of Auto CAD or Solid Works
Previous experience of mentoring / leading
Excellent communication skills
