The Client:
Our client, a Main Contractor and Developer, expanded into the utilities sector in 2024, becoming an NERS-accredited ICP and WIRS accredited (SLP). They now manage connections for both their own developments and external clients, delivering high standards across residential and commercial projects.
Role Overview:
We are now partnering with them to recruit experienced Site Manager/Site Supervisor. In this role, you ll serve as the vital link between project delivery teams and on-site utility operations-ensuring each site is safe, well-prepared, and operating smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee multi-utility works (electric and water) ensuring site readiness and correct materials are on-site.

Interpret site drawings and scopes of work to deliver efficient and compliant installations.

Supervise subcontractors and direct teams on electrical (up to 11kV) and small to medium water connections.

Manage permits, audits, site documentation, and ensure accurate reporting to the Project Manager.

Promote a strong Health & Safety culture aligned with CDM and NRSWA standards.

Prepare job packs, ensure the team has proper tools, PPE, and manage logistical needs.

Conduct pre-, mid-, and post-construction site surveys.
Ideal Candidate:

Background in managing high-voltage cable, substation, or multi-utility projects.

Familiarity with NRSWA, CDM Regulations, and Health & Safety compliance.

Qualifications: IOSH Managing Safely (desirable), SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid, Manual Handling.

Excellent IT, organisational, and communication skills.

Leadership capability to manage on-site teams and drive quality delivery.
Requirements:

Proven experience managing utility infrastructure works.

NRSWA certification and a clear understanding of regulatory compliance.

Health & Safety credentials including SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid.

Full UK driving licence required.
