To support this journey, they're looking for a Capital Accounting Manager to strengthen their finance team and take ownership of fixed asset management across multiple entities.
Your new role
In this key leadership role, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of fixed assets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic oversight. You'll work closely with finance and operational teams to manage capital projects, track asset movements, and ensure audit readiness. Your work will directly support better capital planning and financial control across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a global fixed asset register, ensuring all additions, transfers, and disposals are accurately recorded.
- Calculating and posting monthly depreciation in line with IFRS and internal policies.
- Monitoring capital project spend and ensuring timely capitalisation.
- Preparing monthly fixed asset reports and reconciling the register to the general ledger.
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and internal capitalisation policies.
- Leading on CAPEX projects and supporting strategic capital planning.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least five years' experience in fixed asset or capital accounting. You bring strong technical knowledge of IFRS and fixed asset standards, and you've successfully managed capital projects and depreciation schedules. Experience with ERP systems (such as Oracle R12 FA module) is ideal, and you'll need excellent reconciliation and reporting skills, along with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
