My client is the UK's leading supplier of renewable energy, chimney and flue products and also provide full industry recognised training for their customers and resellers. They have over 5000 stocked items that includes flue liners, pellet stoves, biomass boilers and more.

They now seek an enthusiastic individual to join their sales team to cover the South West of the UK. They supplier to resellers, construction companies, architects, project managers and individuals.

Role:

  • Network and develop relevant relationships inside and outside of the industry, manage key accounts and secure new business opportunities where possible.
  • Identify areas for new product development

Duties:

  • Face to face calls to key accounts in the area and prospective new customers
  • Develop opportunities within existing customers to increase the share of wallet across product groups
  • Report on market trends, competitor activity and opportunities for the company
  • Sell and promote products through training and installer education
  • Understand the product range and advances available
  • Support new product launches
  • Attend exhibitions to support the business and learn of new innervations
  • Use SAP and CRM systems to report calls / contacts
  • Plan and prepare call patterns
  • Ensure all quotes are followed up and converted into profitable business
  • Participate in sales meetings and other company events as required

Needed:

  • Proven sales ability in a B2B environment with an understanding of my client's customers B2C selling environment
  • Through understanding of sales techniques such as questioning, trial closing, funnelling etc
  • Able to sell premium price product on all attributes not just price
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge / understanding of engineering principles both structural and fluid flow
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Be a good team working and be self motivated

  • Starting basic of between 38k to 42k
