Asset Manager required to join successful commercial property team in Belfast

Your new company is a family run, sophisticated real estate investment and development company who Hays are actively working with in their search for an Asset Manager. You can expect to join a company who are focused on the strategic and repositioning of commercial, residential, retail and industrial assets across the UK & Ireland.
Working with a wide range of clients including private companies, statutory and government bodies, charities, individuals through to PLC's and multinationals, this company has built an exciting and substantial real estate portfolio over its 40-year existence and, due to continuing growth and success, now require an Asset Manager to join their expert team.
Your new role
Your new role will be based within the commercial property team in your companies Belfast office, a fast paced and growing sector of the business. Your duties and responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to;

Meeting leasing agents and oversight of third-party property managers Management of tenancy schedules and key lease events including rent reviews, lease renewals and lease regears Assist with the preparation of business plans and setting of objectives and goals for each property Working with the Property Managers with regards to service charge budgets, arrears management and day to day management of a variety of commercial property assets Participate in the setting of property operating budgets and landlord capex requirements Produce reports on assigned portfolio periodically Assist the Asset Managers and Investor team with due diligence for new acquisitions Help to maximise the portfolio's Net Operating income through identified savings and efficiencies What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be able to function in goal-driven, fast-paced environments with the ability to work independently without supervision. It is essential that you also are RICS Qualified and have 2-3 years of post-qualified experience in the property sector. Advanced IT proficiency will also be integral in performing this role to the standard necessary, with a particular importance on MS Office, specifically Excel.
