About the job

To support the Commercial Manager in maintaining commercial control of programmes and projects which is part of TFL that operating run all of London congestion, low emissions, road network infrastructure.

Supporting and delivering procurement activities including supply-chain analysis, development and implementation of sourcing and procurement strategies, pre-qualification, tender and negotiation of contracts and contract award recommendations using procurement processes and systems.

• Job Title: Assistant Commercial Manager

• Location: 2-3 days Southwark Office/2 days WFH

• Pay Rate: £300 PAYE or £403.54 Umbrella per day

• Contract Duration: 31/03/2023

Skills, knowledge, and experience

  • Experience of supporting procurement procedures under the Public or Utilities Regulations
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques used to administer large procurement projects
  • Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams to delivery complex projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • CIPS or equivalent professional qualifications.
