Are you a dynamic leader with a background in Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance? Ready to take on a key role in the Maintenance Management team of an established contractor? Do you possess a proven track record in the delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance? Then we have a compelling opportunity for you!
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager and Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and management of contracts valued at 2-4m. You will be accountable for the leadership and management of a team of up to 20 staff, including Engineers and sub-contractors.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Engineers.
- Act proactively in the Maintenance Management team, driving improvement.
- Cultivate positive client relationships and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Analyse performance and lead employee development and succession planning.
- Implement efficiency strategies, support new business, and provide coverage as needed.
- Handle operational issues and resolutions among stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Background in M&E/Building Services, qualified to HNC or equivalent
- NVQ 4 or above in Management & Leadership (Beneficial)
- Comfortable costing and supervising reactive & small works projects
- Proven track record in M&E Maintenance and P&L management.
- Knowledge of contracts, statutory compliance, and health & safety.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
