Data Protection Manager
Our client is seeking a fantastic compliance or privacy professional to come on board and support the Data Protection team to carry out low to medium privacy assessments. This is an incredibly fast-paced role, so you'll need to be able to prioritise, think ahead and have exceptional initiative.
Data Protection Manager Responsibilities
This position will involve, but will not be limited to:
- Carry out privacy assessments on behalf of the Data Protection team
- Use accountability tracking to detail requirements and actions
- Complete data audits, maintaining and updating records accurately
- Manage the supplier assessment programme and support with inductions and onboarding
- Provide support with DSAR, Rights Requests and breach responses
- Oversee additional support with data protection administration and related projects

Data Protection Manager Essentials
- The ideal candidate will be IAPP CIPP/E certified or currently working towards
- Experience of managing data subject, sets and risks within the retail, hospitality or tourism industry
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Highly organised and diligent
- A pragmatic approach to compliance assessment and risk mitigation
- A critical thinker
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Location
Based in North Oxfordshire, this is a full-time role working 40 hours a week, with 3 days required in the office. Free parking is available and excellent transport links nearby.
