This project focuses on putting technology on the buses which are owned by different bus operations. You would be keeping track of various vehicles, as the organisation manages over 9000 buses, so they are looking for someone who is meticulous in detail and is good at record keeping.Experience working with bus operators is preferable. They have a very collaborative relationship with the bus operators and it's very important to keep operators on their side. Good stakeholder management is crucial for this role as you would be building relationships. You would be required to go on site and work collaboratively with the bus operators.Experience: Experience working with bus operators (desirable) Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people within and outside the organisation. Good stakeholder management skills, and the ability to effectively build relationships. Analyse complex data (quantitative and qualitative), draw conclusions, and produce solutions. Experience of working in a complex, multi-disciplinary, matrix-managed environment. Good knowledge and understanding of project and programme management methodologies and their practical application in a transport setting. Project Management Qualification (PRINCE 2 or APMP).
