Assistant Site Manager - MEP
We are currently searching for enthusiastic Junior/Assistant Site Managers (MEP ) to work for one of the developers in London who specialising in the residential sector. This company traditionally build projects between the £5m and £100m ranges but are progressing on to larger schemes upwards of £200m.
You mainly assisting senior managers with overseeing testing and commissioning of the MEP works.
As Assistant MEP Site Manager you will:
- Oversee daily testing and commissioning of the MEP works.
- Monitor and report on the progress of activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and address any issues that may arise on the site.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members.
- Ensure that all activities align with the project timeline.
- Coordinate the delivery and storage of construction materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Prepare daily or weekly reports on-site activities, progress, and issues.
Required:
- 1-3 years site experience in MEP testing and commissioning.
- Enthusiastic approach to construction and gaining personal experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid
Rate is negotiable based on the experience. Successful candidate will be interviewed immediately, and project will run till end of 2024.
