Due to a continuous and strong pipeline of work, we are looking to appoint a skilled and self-motivated, Associate-Director Architect with managerial skills to join this progressive team.
This reputable studio work across various sectors of the construction industry from small projects to multi-faceted, large-scale commercial commissions.
The successful Associate-Director Architect will report directly to the Group MD and oversee and manage the team and workload locally. The successful candidate would manage the design and construction projects together with distribution of work and management of technical staff both in house and externally. It is expected that the successful candidate would oversee junior members work and provide an overarching supervisory, management role. With a mix of project types, varying in size and complexity, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in all sectors as resource and needs of the practice require.
We are hoping for the Senior Architect candidate to meet the following criteria:
- ARB/RIBA Chartership
- Minimum of 5 years professional working experience in the UK
- Fluency in AutoCAD - REVIT would be advantageous
- Work distribution and team managerial skills
- Experience in various construction methods
- Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Building Standards
In addition, we would expect the successful Associate Director Architect candidate Architect candidate to be able to demonstrate:
- Attention to detail and technical ability
- Excellent communication skills; Written, Verbal and Presentation
- Knowledge of NBS specification and JCT contracts
- Ability to work and manage a dynamic team
