We are looking for a proactive and experienced Bid & Proposals Manager to join our positive and dynamic surveying team on a contract basis. This maternity cover role will commence in February 2025. You will be stepping into a fast-paced and high-volume position essential for my clients project's success.
This is not a senior role, but ideal for someone whose 2 years+ into their bid writing career within the surveying sector or similar!
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing and submitting bids
- Managing incoming bid requests and proposals from start to finish
- Coordinating responses to a high volume of client inquiries with precision and efficiency
- Ensuring all documentation meets company standards and adheres to the requirements of the surveying industry
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and clients to clarify brief details and ensure quality submissions
- Handling company accreditations
- Preparing fee proposals
- Attending client meetings and company events
About You:
- Experience in bid management within a surveying practice or related industry is highly preferred, as familiarity with technical terminology and industry-specific processes is crucial.
- Adaptable and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle concise and sometimes cryptic client briefs.
- Organised and efficient, capable of managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
