Senior Site Manager - Block Manager - Residential New Build

A key client of Henry Martin Group are seeking a strong SSM to oversee a large block on a huge residential development. This contractor are a gold award winner for "Investors in employees". They are have over 10 live sites within London currently valued over 40Mil.

Requirements:

• Proven track record delivering blocks from initial inception to handover and completion
• Absolute comfortability with internal and external packages
• Atleast 3 years experience as a SSM working for a major residential main contractor

Roles and resposibilities:

• Manage and lead on-site construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors, scheduling work, and ensuring progress according to project timelines
• Oversee all site documentation, including permits, inspections, and safety reports
• Monitor project budgets and expenses, and implement cost-saving measures when necessary
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Provide leadership and mentorship to site staff, including site supervisors, foremen, and laborers
• Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise on-site in a timely and professional manner
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
