Hexagon Group is delighted to be partnered with a leader within the real estate sector who has an exciting opportunity for a Building Manager to manage several multi-tenanted assets in Reading. As the Building Manager, you will deliver excellent customer service and work within an experienced facilities management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the health & safety procedures are followed and statutory compliance is up to date.
- Production and management of the service charge budget
- Management of on-site service partners, both hard and soft services which includes an on-site M&E Engineer, cleaning, and security teams.
- Interacting closely with high-profile tenants and attending to their needs in a professional manner
- Launching pop-up events which tenants can enjoy and liaising closely with local companies.
- Overseeing any fit-out projects, and close liaison with external contractors
- Rolling out ESG initiatives for the property, whilst liaising with the internal energy & sustainability teams
Your experience will ideally include managing multi-tenanted commercial properties, along with holding strong knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance; if you hold an IOSH or NEBOSH certificate, this may put you at an advantage. In addition, you will have ideally set service charge budgets previously. You will be highly personable, have exceptional customer service attributes, and be able to bring innovative ideas to the team.
