Our central government client is looking for a Business Change Delivery Manager to join their team on a 10 month contract. This role is delivery focussed and will support the successful roll out of the new Target Operating Model. You will support the planning and implementation for programme go lives, including supporting the function that deals with queries and issues that requirements resolution post implementation.Key objectives for the successful candidate will be to support:
- Defined areas of implementation planning ahead of go lives, to develop a framework for successful implementation, using best practice and lessons from previous go lives.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to ensure all parties are aware of their roles and responsibilities for go live and during implementation.
- The Readiness Unit immediately before/after go live to provide support and oversight for the implementation activities. This would include supporting key forums, reporting, data gathering, queries management and issue resolution.
- Identify learning and continuous improvement to take forward to future go lives.
Key Experience Required: Must have worked within central government previously across multi departments Experience of implementing key business change activities and in working on projects through planning for implementation and go-live.Experience of working collaboratively across organisational boundaries with local and/or national organisations/agencies, to develop joint strategy and/or implement and manage change.In return, you will receive the opportunity to support a major government department, going through large transformation. The possibility to work on a long-term contract paying up to £475 p/day (in scope of IR35).
