Job Description:
Sanderson are partnering with a market leading global manufacturer, who are looking for a Business Development Manager to join them on a permanent basis. As a Business Development Manager, your role will be to focus on the growth of the company's profitability and share of the new build house builder market through systems selling and actively monitoring the adherence to the systems specification on sites.
Responsibilities:
- Profitably grow sales and share of wallet opportunity with house builder customers
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales and revenue growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and prospecting
- Conduct market research to stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and new product developments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Clients, Architects, House Builders, and Contractors
- Confident showcasing products to new clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project completion
- Manage and report on sales pipeline and forecast
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in a similar role in the Roofing or Construction industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing a customer base
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel within the designated area
- Experience working with House Builders
