We are looking for a Business Development Manager who has previous experience working in a similar environment and is now looking for the next step in their career. You will achieve growth and focus on hitting sales targets by successfully managing warm leads, generating new leads and being responsible for maximizing our sales team's potential.

As the Business Development Manager, travel will play a big part in your role. You will manage your diary and arrange meetings with new and existing commercial clients. You must hold a clean driving license.

Location: Remote/On the road

Salary: depending on experience with an OTE of £45k+

Responsibilities

  • To achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing leads and conversion rates.
  • Support the Senior Sales Manager with implementing plans.
  • Understand the requirements of existing commercial clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with our clients and understanding their needs.
  • Act to acquire new clients and manage client relationships (new and existing).
  • Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams when working on commercial projects (marketing, sales, customer service etc.)
  • Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders in the business.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status when working closely with commercial clients.
  • Monitor the performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for the Senior Sales Manager.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a sales manager or BD Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Committed to continuous L&D through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent telephone manners.
  • Organised, punctual and Self-motivating.
  • Must hold a clean driving license.
