We match you with a BlckBx Assistant to take away your daily to do list and execute tasks end to end. Our customers are global businesses and private users who pay a monthly subscription to use BlckBx to help remove the pain of daily life admin.

THE ROLE
What we're looking for
We need someone who is a go-getter - a laser-focused, energetic, ambitious and hard working person who wants to get into BlckBx and fly in their career. We're looking for a generalist business professional who has office experience and has a natural flair for sales, marketing and operations.
It sounds like we're looking for a lot but there are people out there who don't want to just stick to one career but are great at many things and they are just multi-talented, great at learning quickly and want to be a generalist!
The right candidate will be able to support all areas of the business from day one - depending on what the business need is. Every day will be exciting as you'll be making a huge impact and learning and developing your skills.
Working directly with the management team - the CEO and Operations Director you will be reporting to them and working closely to deliver our strategy. For example - here is a list of what you could be doing:
SALES: Sending emails to prospects, setting up meetings, managing the CRM, sales strategy and measurement
MARKETING: Designing the new website, writing copy, collateral, working with graphic designers, events etc
SOCIAL MEDIA: Posting on Insta, updates on LinkedIn, managing inbound messages
FINANCE: Chasing invoices, sending out invoices, updating XERO
HR: Sending out contracts, setting up training resources, assisting with HR queries
PRODUCT: Assisting the team to find resources, maybe a bit of project management
You will be based in Reading and need to come into the office 2 or 3 times a week.
What will you be good at?
- Great with people - talking to them, emailing - great empathy so you can get the job done
- Ambitious - there's no JD - it's all hands on deck and there is room to really fly at BlckBx as it's a start up!
- Attention to detail - we won't be checking your work, you'll need to be a self manager and a perfectionist
- Business mentality - you just get the commercials, we don't do anything unless there is ROI back
- Can-do attitude - nothing is too big or too small, just get on with it and see the results
- Tech-savvy - we'll be asking you to help us learn new things so you must be good with normal office tech!
- Good with words and numbers - comfortable writing up a sales email to doing a pivot table on Excel
Proof you can do what you say you can do
- We'll want some real life examples of how you can do the above things. We'll want you to explain situations where you out performed from any experience and show us that you will be able to excel in this role.
Experience:
We're looking for a super smart GRADUATE with at least 3 years experience!
- Bachelor's degree 2:1 and above
- At least 3 years experience
Assessment Task - 1 hr
- We will send you a few tasks to do to assess your competencies and then a series of interviews.
