Job Title: Construction Buyer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Buyer to join our team in Dudley. As a key part of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials, plant, and subcontractor services.
• Negotiate competitive rates and establish strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure materials are delivered on time and within budget.
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to meet project requirements.
• Monitor market trends, prices, and supply chain risks.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Construction Buyer (contractor experience preferred).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and supply chains.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
