Job title: Cad Designer

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Main duties

• Produce CAD designs for curtain-wall systems using Technal and Schuco systems, commercial glazing and cladding systems.
• Designs to be used as the basis for pricing, scheduling, programming and project management.
• Designs to include detail, elevation and location.
• Attend design meetings with external client.
• Liaise with structural engineers.
• Issue RFI schedules.
• Produce design reports.
• Prepare schedule of materials required against the design.
• Work with Contracts, Project and Site managers to ensure production and delivery of design and associated information on time as required.

Qualifications

• Autocad proficient
• CAD Design Qualification

Relevant experience

• Tech Design and / or Schucal System proficiency
• Scheduling
• Skilled in the production of detailed design in the curtain-wall, glazing or fa ade industry

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good Team working skills

• Skilled at using Microsoft Office software, particularly strong with Excel.
