We currently have an opportunity for a Catchment Asset Manager to join our team based in Exeter. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Catchment Asset Manager who will be responsible for understanding the performance of our wastewater network by using various tools, to complete problem characterisation within geographical catchments. Produce problem statements and engage with the Engineering Delivery teams to ensure capital schemes achieve desired outcomes.

What you'll be doing:
Identify the root cause of complex serviceability issues on the wastewater network within a specific geographical area of responsibility. Articulate the issues through a 'Needs Statement' which will be used to secure funding.
Promote a proactive culture. Use data to foresee problems developing and instigate mitigation before they cause a serviceability issue.
Work with colleagues to co-ordinate solutions within a catchment. Ensure benefits are maximised across all areas of wastewater and disruption to communities is minimised. Consider whole life costs during solution selections so long-term financial benefits are maximised.
Complete post project reviews to ensure the delivered solution achieves the original objectives. Communicate the good and bad elements of each project so lessons are learnt.
Support the delivery of Drainage & Wastewater Management Plans, which will be shared with internal and external stakeholders and used to prepare future Price Reviews.
Build new and strengthen existing stakeholder relationships. Influence/negotiate to deliver timely solutions and maximise co-creation opportunities.
Regularly review existing processes and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose within the continually evolving working environment. Implement new ways of working when potential improvements are identified.
