CORE PRODUCT MANAGEMENT :

It is expected that the CPO would assume reporting line responsibility for the team, currently comprised of the following individuals:

Senior Product Manager

Product Manager DXM

Product Manager Core

Senior Product Manager - Investor Reporting

Product Analyst - Investor Reporting

Senior Product Manager - Studio Apps (soon to return to sales role, should be replaced)

Product Analyst - Studio Apps

Head of Product Training

Product Trainer x 2

SOLUTIONS - CURRENT STATUS

Currently the firm provides three solutions:

Investment Websites: This comprises DXM and Studio digital apps from a product perspective. There are two key initiatives here that must be completed: DXM performance improvements and getting Studio's strategic roadmap items executed upon. For DXM performance, a caching strategy is designed the team just have to execute upon it. We need to reinvigorate our strategic roadmap and get back in to the state-of-the-art quadrant.

Investment Reporting: This comprises Documents, Studio for Office/InDesign, and Data / Studio. This product line has the most in terms of strategic roadmap to execute upon and is getting the most commercial traction.

Investor Portals: Via DXM and Studio, the platform provides a strong option for delivering institutional client reporting portals.

In all three cases, owning the vision across all three will be key. This will require deep collaboration with senior team members in engineering.

MARKETING:

There is currently a gap in how we market our products and how we create solutions from them. The CPO will be expected to bridge these gaps. In terms of marketing, a lot of our focus is on content marketing, particularly around the problems we solve, also providing a lot of the ideation and impetus.

The CPO will be expected to take on this role of driving content ideation with the head of marketing. Secondarily, the CPO will be expected to research and identify, with the help of the product managers, new problems in the industry where our technology can provide a solution.
