Your new employer has an excellent pipeline of major works across the UK and Ireland and boasts an enviable order book of live sites across Northern Ireland where this position will cover.

With a current headcount of circa 160 permanent members of staff, this company has a turnover of £80million and has built an excellent in-house team of strong operational, commercial and support staff to ensure the business stays at the forefront of the industry.

This position is with an excellent employer who can offer you a permanent role with competitive salaries, van, fuel, and plenty of company benefits inclusive of ongoing training and development programmes and travel and accommodation if required.

Your new role

Working primarily on sewer rehab works within the Water Framework, you will play a key role within the team through programme management, subcontractor management and client engagement. There will be the opportunity to continue to develop professionally with the support of the Framework team.

This role will cover multiple sites with the region to be determined (may involve travel) and help develop the water infrastructure in each area. You will also be involved in ongoing life sites as and when required through clean and water schemes inclusive of pumping stations and treatment plants across the UK & Ireland.

As Site Manager, you will have proven management experience as Site No.1, overseeing daily operations across sites including the planning, execution, delivery and completion of civils projects, with a preference being held to Site Managers who have overseen works on the Northern Ireland Water framework.

Site locations will vary, so you may be required to travel around multiple sites across the UK & Ireland with travel and accommodation provided.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered successful, applicants must be willing to travel. Further to this, you will require a degree in Civil Engineering or other industry related qualification with 3+ years relevant on the ground experience ideally within the water or the utilities sector.
Numeracy and IT skills, including MS Office, Word and Excel, are also preferential.
You will develop professionally and personally as a successful Site Manager with an established company that provides steady and ongoing projects. You will receive an attractive salary, with a well-rounded benefits package.
A driving licence is essential, and you will ideally have experience of civils schemes, preferably within the water sector.

What you'll get in return

On offer will be the opportunity to work on a permanent basis and develop a career path and development plan with a leading NI contractor. Our client will provide a competitive salary (negotiable on experience) + package inclusive of company van, fuel, phone, laptop and progression within the business.
You can also expect to avail of performance-related bonuses, training and professional membership, private medical insurance, life insurance and additional holidays.
This is a long-term career option and will ensure you develop a lasting career with this contractor.
