The Commissioning ProjectLead Team:
As a Commissioning Project Leader - PTS Electrical, youwill be responsible for managing commissioning activities of allpropulsion electrical systems on Astute classsubmarines. This role will provide youwith the opportunity to work across multiple platforms giving youexposure to different systems and technologies. You will be givenlots of training to develop further within your career. We offerrelocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject tomeeting eligibility criteria.

- Responsible for leading a team ofElectrical Engineers in the Propulsion TestSection Review andplan training and development of electrical engineers within thesection Deputisefor the Propulsion manager in their absence and act as temporarylead, covering all Propulsion sectionmeeting Responsible for planning and supervisingcommissioningactivities Be asigning member of the Propulsion test group Liaisewith other test departments to ensure safe control of work Responsible for overseeing Electrical Ripouts for the Propulsion section Reviewingand authoring test documentation in relation to the Propulsion testsection
Essential:
- Degree/HNC/HND in an Engineeringdiscipline or equivalentexperience Knowledgeof either Propulsion or Power Distribution systems from eithercommissioning or maintenance experience Experienceof SAP Understanding and experience of SafeSystems of Work
- PreviousTeam leader / Supervisoryexperience Ideallyhave a min of HNC in an Electrical Engineeringsubject Review andapproval of electrical isolations (Rip-Out/Tag-outs) Experienceof reviewing electrical and technical documentation anddrawings
