H4ALL
Thanks to a new five-year grant from the Big Lottery, H4All is seeking a Communications & Engagement Officer.
This role is offered as full-time, although part-time job sharing will be considered please specify your preference when you submit your application.
The team s primary objectives are to:
- Grow resilience and increase the capacity of Hillingdon s health-focused voluntary sector organisations;
- Promote innovative approaches to improving population health and wellbeing, and;
- Improve collaborative working across the voluntary sector.
For the role of Health and Wellbeing Officer the main responsibilities will be:
- To develop a communications campaign that will significantly increase awareness of the new H4All Stronger Communities Development programme
- To establish a programme of engagement to grow the membership of the Hillingdon Health and Wellbeing Alliance, convene their meetings and sustain regular communication with the sector via the Community Voice bulletin and other communications identified in the communications
- To lead on a strong programme of engagement for BAME and disengaged communities across Hillingdon, ensuring effective representation and engagement from all community groups that represent marginalised residents
- To work with the Performance and Engagement Manager in the Senior Management team to review and refresh all hard copy and electronic communication materials in line with new branding guidelines.

- £25,000 - £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The ideal candidate will need:
- Experience of partnership working with a range of other organisations.
- Experience of project development and delivery
- Experience of organising public events and an awareness of relevant legislative requirements, such as risk assessments and health and safety considerations
- An understanding of effective partnership working and skilled in creating new partnerships
