Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements.
• Conduct thorough analysis of construction drawings and specifications.
• Accurately estimate the quantity and cost of steel materials required for projects.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
• Prepare detailed and comprehensive cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, material costs, and construction methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Steel Estimator in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with estimating software/tools.
