Ivy Resource Group are currently looking to hire a Construction / Fit-out Project Manager to join one our clients on a permanent basis in Woking, Surrey.
The company:
Our client is a leading regional contractor who work across the South East, on schools, hospitals and prisions.
The role entails:
Managing the Site Manager and sub-contractors on site
Liasing with clients - Pre-start meeting and other meetings with the client
Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project
Reviewing progress and liaising with Quantity Surveyors to monitor costs
Ensuring the work is completed on time and within budget
Organising logistics, delegating work and keeping track of spending
Requirements:
Experience working on schools, hospitals and prisions is highly desirable although not essential
Must live within 40 miles of Woking
What are we looking for?
A strong background as a Project Manager
Strong IT Skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proactive with the ability to work and manage time effectively
Relevant industry qualifications - SMSTS, 1st Aid etc
