Your new companyYou will be joining a main contractor based in Birmingham who are working on both Civils and M&E schemes for a major water framework in the Midlands region. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Contracts Manager to provide strategic oversight and operational direction to their project teams. Your new roleAs Contracts Manager, you will be based in their Birmingham office and be responsible for, but not limited to, managing and monitoring on-site operations, reviewing and approving project expenditures, attending site meetings with the client, supervising HSQE performance on projects, collaborating with site managers and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery as well as ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have previous experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager in the water sector and be commercially astute. In addition, you will also have previous experience planning and programming works. Working knowledge of MEICA is highly advantageous.
