Area to be covered: South Midlands & South East (North of the M25)
Remuneration: £55,000 - £60,000 + up to 30% bonus
Benefits: Company car or allowance (£5,875 per year), health care, 4x life assurance, pension & 32days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays The role of the Contracts Manager - Timber Frame will involve:
- Contracts Manager position dealing with the design, manufacture and installation of high end timber frames
- Working closely with leading house builders, architects, specifying consultants and engineers
- Liaising regularly with Design and Technical departments
- Ensuring that all project documentation is passed to relevant departments
- Ensuring projects are completed within pre-agreed timescales and budget
- Collate RAMS and H&S documentation for projects
- Attending relevant internal project meeting and resolving any issues
- Overseeing plant requisition and haulage
- Providing excellent customer service to clients to encourage repeat business
- Managing projects ranging in size from 35 units to 400 units
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager - Timber Frame with:
- Must have Contracts Manager experience within the house building / property development market sector
- Strong technical understanding of timber frames
- Resilient individual who can deal with queries in a professional manor
- Ideally will have CSCS black card, SMSTS and A61 appointed person qualifications
- Excellent communication across all levels both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Full UK driving license
