About the role

We have an exciting opportunity within the Marketing and Digital Division for a Customer Communications Fulfilment Manager. As the Customer Communications Fulfilment Manager you will have one direct report and together you will support the business and our agency network with the supply of printed and digital communications to our customers both existing and prospective. This will include policy documentation distributed to meet regulatory deadlines and a wide range of marketing and operational literature. You will be responsible for the Literature and Fulfilment strategy, plan and multi-million-pound budget, working closely with senior stakeholders and teams across the wider business such as Marketing Campaigns, Procurement and Group Legal to understand and respond to NFU Mutual's specialist business needs, using your market expertise and the help of third-party specialists. You will closely manage third party relationships with our suppliers making sure they provide a cost-effective and efficient service, driving savings and reducing adverse environmental impact.

With several strategic change programmes in progress across NFU Mutual, it's an exciting time to join our business as we focus on evolving our digital capability to offer customers their preferred channel. You will have the opportunity to work closely on key developments and advise these projects on the best ways to move digital forward, whilst considering any implications this may have on literature and fulfilment. There is also huge opportunity within the role to extend what the literature and fulfilment speciality does within the business making it a fantastic development and strategic opportunity.

This Customer Communications Fulfilment Manager role is known internally as a Literature and Fulfilment Manager.

About you

You easily combine your extensive knowledge of print production, digital and fulfilment processes with specialist knowledge around marketing channels including email and direct marketing which you can demonstrate from a similar, previous role. Naturally, you're a confident communicator, with the presence to develop excellent working relationships at all levels across our business as well as with large, external suppliers. Interpersonal and influencing skills are a must for this role and you will have a strong understanding of GDPR regulations having worked with regulatory processes previously. Knowledge and experience of Procurement processes would be advantageous.

To join our team, you must have:

  • Line management and leadership experience
  • Experience of managing multi-million-pound third party supplier relationships
  • Experience of reducing cost and environmental impact through process transformation
  • Demonstrable experience of working with print production suppliers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
