Position: Data Centre Infrastructure Manager (Contract)
Location: Reading
Pay: 500p/d

About the Role:

We have an urgent requirement for a highly skilled Data Centre Infrastructure Manager to join the team for a central government opportunity with the Home Office. This role demands a candidate with extensive experience in data centre management, particularly with NLyte and ServiceNow tools, and the necessary security accreditations.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Centre Manager
• Proficiency with NLyte DCIM tooling
• SC and NPPV3 accreditations
• Strong project management skills (Prince2 and/or Agile methodologies)

Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Management:

• Promote and use NLyte DCIM tooling for data centre infrastructure management
• Promote and use ServiceNow IT Service Management tooling for Incident, Problem, Change, and other ITIL practices
• Monitor data centre activity and events, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents/problems
• Supervise Smart Hands, Technical team, and Home Office 3rd Party Suppliers for routine maintenance and capacity management
• Manage data centre infrastructure and resource capacity
