Decontamination Manager Job - Stockport - Up to £64,000.00 + Benefits

Hays is looking for a Decontamination Manager to lead and manage the operational responsibility for our Clients Decontamination facility in Stockport. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The job holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Your new role
The Decontamination Manager will provide leadership, strategic direction and facilities management service to the Stockport decontamination facility, thus enabling the unit to deliver a high quality, efficient and cost-effective service to all its users. The Decontamination Manager will also develop the business, both internally and externally, in line with Company policies, building relationships and trust to become a supplier of first choice.
Key Responsibilities
A relevant qualification in decontamination or equivalent experience.A proven track record of managing a decontamination unit or similar service.A strong understanding of the regulatory and quality standards for decontamination, including HTM 01-01, ISO 13485 and BS EN 15883.A sound knowledge of the clinical and operational aspects of decontamination, including equipment, instrumentation and flexible endoscopes.A demonstrable ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of staff.A high level of financial and commercial acumen, with experience of budgeting, costing and reporting.A strategic and innovative thinker, with the ability to identify and implement improvements and new opportunities.A customer-focused and collaborative approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A commitment to the vision and values of Company Decontamination.What you'll get in return
