Role: Demand Planning AnalystLocation: HARIBO Castleford (Hybrid working- 2 days per week in the office and 3 from home)Working hours: 38Salary: CompetitivePosition type: Fixed Term Contract (18-24 months)Reporting to the Demand Planning and Customer Service Manager, you will play a vital role in analysing & maintaining a collaborative 12 to 18 month item customer forecast using historical, current, and projected future sales and marketing data.The sweet stuff:-36 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays-Market leading life assurance-6% pension (matched by HARIBO)-20% discount in our stores-Discount platform - access to a range of discounts at hundreds of major retailers-Subsidised Canteen-Salary sacrifice - "Home Technology" and "Cycle to Work"-Bonus schemeHow you'll contribute to the mix:-Liaison with Account Managers and customers to obtain and maintain customer item forecasts.-Entry in to and maintenance of customer forecasts on the demand planning software and the upload of this information on to the ERP system -Completing sales analysis, including the production of reports in various formats-Develop and build relationships with Customers supply teams to improve forecast accuracy.-Analysis and maintain the short to long term forecasts using historic sales data and market intelligence, to enable effective capacity planning. -Provide in-depth reviews customers / item combinations upon request.-Review, identify and resolve key forecast accuracy issues.-Track promotional performance and react to any changes to minimise impact on the Business. -Track the effectiveness of customer promotions, reporting back to relevant National Account Managers.-Provide cover as and when required for the Demand & Forecasting Team -Delivery of effective two-way communication-Driving continuous improvementCan you supply our essential ingredients?-Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent working experience.-Previous experience in Demand Planning/Supply chain role -Preferably gained in an FMCG environment.-Advanced IT Skills required particularly in MS Excel.-Excellent numerical skills with a keen attention to detail.-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.-Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.-Ability to motivate self to achieve deadlines.-A desire to show and demonstrate initiative.-The ability to communicate well and influence at all levels.-Comfortable working both alone and in a team environment.If our sweet insights into this role have got you craving a career with HARIBO, why not apply today to join the mix!REF-
