Design Manager
Tier 1 Main Contractor
Sector: Water / Infrastructure / Civil Engineering
Location: Covering sites across Southern region, in and around London, Thames Valley, as far as Reading
Mix of office, site, and home working
Salary Package: Up to £85,000 + £6,000 car allowance + 10% bonus + excellent benefits package
Contract: Permanent, full-time

The role:
The successful Design Manager will be required to support the project delivery teams by providing concept, basic and detailed design solutions based on client and site-specific requirements for clean water, wastewater and biosolids treatment solutions, pipelines, trunk mains, sewers pumping stations and networks.
Requirements:
- Design management experience on water projects.
- Experience in managing internal and external design sub-contractors.
- Some M&E experience would be desirable.
- Degree/HNC qualified, or equivalent, in civil engineering.
- Hands on, practical approach to design.
- Foul water drainage system experience.
- Portable water mains.
- Design experience of wastewater infrastructure.
- MIECA installations.
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) and common data environments
- Member of a recognised engineering institution, Incorporated Engineer, or Chartered Engineer and or working towards membership
