Work for a main contractor with an excellent north west pipeline of secured work for 2024! My client is a Tier One main building contractor that is very well established in the marketplace. Due to an increase in contract won in Manchester region they currently need a number of Design Manager or Senior Design Manager to join their team. They deliver large scale design and Build projects, with an excellent reputation in high quality project delivery. As a business they are delivering a good variety of projects within education commercial and leisure sectors. Their schemes range between £20 million to £80million, so experience of this scale sized projects is preferred. The Senior/ Design Manager they are looking will have proven experience of planning submissions and preconstruction processes of projects. The successful candidate will have experience working for main building contractors in pre-construction teams. They are flexible on the level at this stage so will review upon application where can fit within the teams. As a Design/ Senior Manager you will be involved in your designated project from pre-construction stages through to initial design and delivery on site. Most projects running for around 2 years, as mentioned they work regional with a massive pipeline with the North West. You will be attending internal and external meetings including chairing, reviewing design drawings in accordance with building regulations.
