This role is for a Design Project Manager to work within the preconstruction team of a highly successful bespoke joinery business in Kensington & Chelsea. The successful candidate will need to have a balanced design and project management skill-set, the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, and a high level of attention to detail to ensure quality delivery.

The organisation has an international footprint and has established themselves as a key player within the UK joinery market, especially within the residential and hotel sectors. They are based out of impressive showroom offices in Kensington & Chelsea.
Description
As a Design Project Manager you will take responsibility for project delivery during preconstruction after contract award through to commencement on site. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing detailed project plans and monitoring progress.
- Collating all relevant architecture drawings and specifications from client teams and consultants
- Producing accurate information for bill of quantities and orders for the manufacturing team or external suppliers
- Engaging stakeholders and effectively communicating project expectations, timelines, and milestones
- Identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Maintaining project documentation for future reference and continuous improvement.
Profile
A successful Design Project Manager should have:
- A relevant degree in design, project management, construction, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and design in the architecture, interiors, or joinery sector
- Proficiency in using CAD design software and project management tools (mainly excel).
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across technical and non-technical staff
- Italian language skills would be advantageous for communication with manufacturers
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
