We are supporting a growing company in Central Brighton with recruiting for a Digital Applications & Development Manager, working in a full time, permanent position. You will be offered a salary of up to 65K depending on your experience plus additional benefits to be discussed upon application.
You will also be responsible for two direct reports so will need to have previous management experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team. You must also have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate within and outside the business.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Using your experience in modern software development and deployment, collaborate with stakeholders to maintain and regularly iterate the IT, Digital and Data roadmap, as well as delivering small change projects
- Lead the Digital Applications team in delivering best practice digital solutions that support the business goals and objectives
- Work closely with several internal and external individuals and teams to create a multi-year roadmap including the introduction and deployment of composable architecture and AI
- Deliver small change projects
- Provide support and guidance in analysing the usage and performance of digital applications to identify opportunities for new, or improving existing, features and functionalities
- Ensure the website and digital applications adhere to current E-privacy and GDPR regulations, maintaining a secure and robust framework for managing cookies, CMS permissions, accessibility and GA4 on the company sites
Experience or understanding of any of the below would be an advantage for this role (although not essential):
- Hotjar
- GA4
- Experimentation platforms, such as VWO
- Sitecore and composable architectures, with ideally one or more of the following: Contentful CMS, Algolia Search and Netlify Hosting and Orchestration technologies
- Next.js & Tailwind CSS
- Ecommerce, sales funnel and conversion optimisation
- Google Big Query
- VWO (alternatively Optimisely or AB Tasty)
- Data Analytics (GA, Sitecore, Hot Jar, SEM Rush)
