Position Overview:
As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of project documentation. You will be responsible for organising, storing, and maintaining documents, both digital and physical, in a methodical and accessible manner. Your attention to detail and ability to manage documentation processes will contribute to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
- Organise and categorise documents according to project specifications and company standards.
- Implement document control procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate document review and approval processes with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Track revisions and updates to documents, ensuring that the latest versions are readily available to project teams.
- Generate reports and summaries as required, providing insights into document status and progress.
- Assist with document retrieval and distribution, both electronically and physically, as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to support efficient document management throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in document control, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in document management software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite and document control systems (e.g., Aconex, Procore).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on maintaining data integrity.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to document control practices is desirable.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and task execution.
Salary and Benefits:
