Responsibilities:
- Pricing projects accurately and competitively, considering labour, materials, and equipment costs.
- Overseeing electrical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring their work meets quality standards and project timelines.
- Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project coordination and communication.
- Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to the project team, resolving technical issues, and ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing appropriate safety measures, and promoting a safe working environment.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and incorporating them into project planning and execution.
- Experience in electrical supervision or electrical contracts management within the commercial construction sector.
- Proven track record in pricing projects and managing electrical works on commercial projects.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using electrical estimating software and project management tools.
- Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications.
- Valid driving licence.
