Due to internal progression we have been instructed to support a regulator in Central Birmingham to hire a Qualified Finance Manager on a permanent basis.As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations whilst managing a small team, you will look to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up.

Description
Finance Manager duties:
- Oversee the organisations Financial Planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage and support a small finance team.
- Provide accurate and timely finance reports to the Head of Finance.
- Manage the annual budgeting process and track budget against performance.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the organisations financial strategy.
- Control expenses and reduce unnecessary costs where required.
Profile
The successful Finance Manager:
- Holder of a relevant finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience with line managing a team in previous roles.
