Due to internal progression we have been instructed to support a regulator in Central Birmingham to hire a Qualified Finance Manager on a permanent basis.As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations whilst managing a small team, you will look to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up.

Description

Finance Manager duties:

• Oversee the organisations Financial Planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage and support a small finance team.
• Provide accurate and timely finance reports to the Head of Finance.
• Manage the annual budgeting process and track budget against performance.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the organisations financial strategy.
• Control expenses and reduce unnecessary costs where required.

Profile

The successful Finance Manager:

• Holder of a relevant finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience with line managing a team in previous roles.
