Finance Manager, £50-60k, Camberley
Working for a successful SME consultancy business, this new Finance Manager role will suit either an experienced AAT qualified / QBE, a late-stage CIMA / ACCA studier or a Qualified Accountant. This is a predominantly office-based role.
Working in a small team and reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, tasks will include:
Production of Management and Group Consolidated Accounts on a monthly basis with assistance from the Group FC. Updating KPI dashboards on a monthly basis and liaising with internal stakeholders to make sure data is readily available to meet month-end deadlines. Project revenue and cost reconciliations on internal ERP system. Maintain and process Accruals & Prepayments, Depreciation, Fixed Asset Register and Revenue recognition. Accounts Receivable - raising sales invoices on internal systems, bank receipts, debtor management and resolving internal and external queries. Accounts Payable - processing and reconciliation of supplier invoices and monthly payment runs in accordance with agreed payment terms. Reconciliation of Nominal Ledger Accounts. Analysis of business credit cards and employee expenses. Administration of Supplier CDAs and Supplier Agreements. Cashbook and bank reconciliations. Payroll analysis. ERP Management and Development. Deputise for the Group Finance Controller when required. Supporting the business with ad-hoc tasks.
About you:
Minimum of 5 years' in accounts with appropriate experience. Preferably at least AAT qualified / QBE with 3-5+ years pqe, or someone in the final stages of CIMA / ACCA studies or a Qualified Accountant with experience. Flexible and hands-on, (working hours here aren't mad but not a clock-watcher). Highly competent with Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll and Microsoft Excel. Previous experience with an ERP would be beneficial. Comfortable working on multi-company accounts. Able to work on your own initiative but as part of a collaborative, functioning team. Outgoing, confident manner, able to communicate credibly and professionally with peers and external stakeholders alike. Meticulous attention to detail and genuine commitment to driving comp any success.
