6 Month FTC, Immediate start, Mainly home based with the ability to travel to Leamington Spa for meetings
Salary £43,768 - £47,775 p.a. pro rata, 36 hour working week with a 15.30 finish on a Friday
Job Purpose
To provide support to the FP&A Manager, to analyse income and costs, to enable managers to understand and control their own budgets, to track projects and contract profitability, to help embed Power BI reporting and provide data assurance, and to check and challenge and ensure compliance with policies & procedures
Our friendly Third Sector client is seeking a Financial Analyst for a six month fixed term contract
Education / Qualifications / Training
- Part Qualified accountant - preferably with CIMA
- Further education in STEM subject
Experience
- Experience of working within the not-for-profit sector desirable, but also commercially aware
- Experience of working within finance departments and with non finance staff
- Experience of working with different finance and data systems
Knowledge
- Understanding of financial accounting principles
- Use of KPI metrics to drive an organisation s performance
Skills
-
- Good Excel skills (e.g., pivots, SUMIFs etc.) including experience of modelling
- Power BI experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communicator able to communicate at all levels of an organisation about numbers and to present figures visually.
